Hangargekar used to bowl off-spin for the Osmanabad district U-14 squad, but his team needed a quick bowler, so he switched to speed bowling. He has worked with coach Mohan Jadhav in Pune for the last two years and trainer-cum-mentor Tejas Matapurkar at the Veerangan Cricket Academy.

IPL 2022 :

After a bidding battle between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings won and snatched Rajvardhan for INR 1.5 crore.

The 19-year-old would be very fortunate to join the IPL’s second-most successful team and to do so under the guidance of one of the world’s most successful captains and all-time ICC trophy winners, M.S Dhoni.
